We’re excited to announce the launch of $SAHARA, the native utility token that powers all core functions across the Sahara AI ecosystem and enables access and coordination across a decentralized AI economy.
As part of the $SAHARA Token Generation Event (TGE), we’re introducing the Knowledge Drop—our community distribution designed to recognize and reward early contributors across all areas of the ecosystem. Whether you participated through the Data Services Platform (DSP), joined the Sahara Legends campaign, supported enterprise and protocol development, or helped build the community from within Discord, you’re part of this moment!
The Knowledge Drop represents 5% of the total $SAHARA supply. While allocations vary based on activity and impact, almost everyone who added real value will receive $SAHARA. To recognize deeper engagement, we’ve applied boosted allocations for active Web3 wallets and implemented adjustments to reduce Sybil activity.
And we’re not stopping at token rewards. In addition to the Knowledge Drop, we’ll be distributing exclusive cash rewards to recognize loyal and active contributors in our Discord community, including community managers, moderators, event hosts, platinum role holders, and top-tier UGC creators. If you’re eligible, you’ll be added to a private channel in Discord where our team will share next steps.

Knowledge Drop Eligibility
The Knowledge Drop rewards three distinct contributor categories based on verified activity through May 31, 2025 00:00 UTC. Your final allocation depends on your contribution type, activity level, and account quality assessments designed to ensure genuine participation is prioritized.
Data Services Platform (DSP) Contributors
Total Allocation: 4.05% of total supply
Over the past few months, the Data Services Platform (DSP) has been live, focused on distributed and high-quality data collection, labeling, and curation, to power the development of AI models and agents. During this period, Sahara AI launched the Prometheus Program and ran three structured Seasons, resulting in the creation of numerous high-quality datasets for diverse developer and enterprise needs.
Participants in DSP tasks earned Sahara Points, which serve as the basis for calculating individual allocations in the $SAHARA Knowledge Drop.
The platform’s evolution was deeply shaped by the enthusiastic engagement and valuable feedback from early contributors. In recognition of their efforts in testing, refining, and helping to cold-start the DSP, 4.05% of the total supply of $SAHARA has been allocated to reward these early users.

Contribution Adjustments and Sahara Point Multipliers:
Our goal is to reward real users and meaningful contributions across the board. To help ensure that, we apply multipliers that boost allocations for active, engaged wallets while minimizing the impact of bots or low-effort activity. This adjustment ensures that meaningful human participation is prioritized over automated or inauthentic behavior.
Standard Contributor:
The majority of contributors fall into this category. These are real users who participated meaningfully in DSP. Your Sahara Points are counted as-is, and your $SAHARA allocation directly reflects the value of your verified contributions. You are the backbone of this phase and your support was essential to getting Sahara AI to where it is today.
Active Web3 Users:
To recognize additional signs of sustained engagement across the broader Web3 ecosystem, wallets holding at least 0.01 ETH at the time of the snapshot will receive a 200% multiplier on their Sahara Points. This bonus reward is our way of encouraging deeper exploration and long-term participation in crypto while celebrating contributors who went above and beyond.
Sybil and Low Quality-Flagged Accounts:
Some accounts were flagged through DSP’s Sybil detection system for patterns consistent with automated or low-quality activity. While these submissions met the minimum criteria to be accepted, we prioritize human insight and high-quality contributions. Rather than excluding these users entirely from the Knowledge Drop, flagged wallets will receive 20% of their original Sahara Points toward their token allocation—a reduced reward that still acknowledges the time spent while appropriately adjusting for contribution quality.

The DSP claim will be distributed in two phases to balance community access with broader token stability:
44% of DSP allocation will be fully unlocked at TGE
56% of DSP allocation is subject to a 6-month cliff, followed by monthly linear vesting over the next 6 months
This structure ensures early contributors can immediately engage with the ecosystem, while giving our tokenomics and utility the space to be tested, validated, and fully realized. It’s a long-term approach designed to support meaningful participation across the AI economy.

Sahara Legends Campaign Participants
Total Allocation: 0.45% of total supply
To grow community engagement and foster grassroots participation, Sahara AI launched Sahara Legends—a fully open, gamified task platform featuring interactive missions and creative challenges. Participants completed quests that supported awareness, storytelling, and early ecosystem development, helping to shape the cultural identity and momentum of Sahara AI in the lead-up to Mainnet.
As users completed tasks, they earned Shards, which reflect their activity and impact within the Legends campaign. These Shards now serve as the basis for calculating individual token allocations in the $SAHARA Knowledge Drop.
In recognition of these efforts, 0.45% of the total supply of $SAHARA has been allocated to users who actively participated in the Sahara Legends campaign.

To fairly reward real, engaged contributors, Shards are adjusted using multipliers based on wallet activity and Sybil resistance. This adjustment ensures that meaningful human participation is prioritized over automated or inauthentic behavior.

Total Allocation: 0.50% of total supply
This category recognizes the early technical contributors, builders, and enterprise partners who played a pivotal role in shaping the foundational layers of the Sahara AI ecosystem. These collaborators helped drive protocol business revenue, build infrastructure and tooling, and expand enterprise adoption across data services and AI agents.
Eligible recipients include:
Strategic enterprise partners who piloted Sahara AI in production environments for real business use cases
Ecosystem builders of AI protocols, foundational toolkits, AI agents, or applications

The Ecosystem Builder and Enterprise Partner claim will be distributed in two phases to balance community access with broader token stability:
